President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended greetings to the leaders and people of Saint Lucia on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.

In separate messages, the President conveyed his best wishes to Governor General Cyril E.M. Charles and Prime Minister Philip Joseph Pierre, expressing hope for their good health and the continued prosperity of the nation.

Saint Lucia marks its Independence Day on February 22, commemorating its transition to an independent state in 1979.
