President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to President Mohamed Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister Mark Phillips, the Government, and the people of Guyana on the occasion of their Republic Day.

In separate messages sent to Guyana’s leadership, President Dr Muizzu extended his personal well-wishes for their good health and happiness, along with hopes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Guyanese people.

Guyana’s Republic Day, celebrated annually on February 23, marks the country's transition to a republic in 1970, four years after gaining independence in 1966.
