Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Khaleel has arrived in Geneva to participate in the High-Level Segment of the 58th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

The session, taking place at the Palais des Nations from February 24 to April 4, 2025, opens with the High-Level Segment from 24 to 26 February, where dignitaries from over 100 Member States will address the Council.

As part of his engagement, Minister Khaleel will be speaking at the High-Level General Debate, and contribute to discussions shaping the Council’s agenda. In addition, he will take part in several high-level meetings, engaging with international counterparts on shared priorities and global challenges.

Beyond formal proceedings, Minister Khaleel will use the opportunity to interact with fellow officials attending the session, reinforcing diplomatic ties and fostering cooperation on human rights initiatives.
