President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended greetings to Estonian President Alar Karis, Prime Minister Kristen Michal, and the people of Estonia on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.

In his message, President Dr Muizzu reflected on his official visit to Estonia in January, describing it as a key milestone in the diplomatic ties between the two nations. He reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to strengthening cooperation across various sectors at both bilateral and multilateral levels.

The President also conveyed his best wishes for the health and well-being of Estonia’s leaders and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Estonian people.

In addition to his formal message, President Dr Muizzu shared a post on his official X account, reiterating his optimism for enhanced collaboration between the Maldives and Estonia in the years ahead.

Estonia marks its Independence Day annually on February 24.
