President addresses land acquisition concerns for Ban'didhoo’s development

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with senior officials of Ban'didhoo this afternoon at a gathering held at Ban'didhoo School.
The meeting provided an opportunity for local leaders and residents to discuss issues affecting the community and to present their concerns directly to the President.
One of the primary matters raised was the need for land reclamation to support the island’s development. Officials emphasised the importance of securing additional land to accommodate the growing needs of the community. In response, President Dr Muizzu assured attendees that the Government would take these concerns into account when revising the island’s land use plan. He further stated that efforts would be made to identify a viable solution, considering both public opinion and the specific requirements of the island’s residents.
In addition to addressing their concerns, attendees expressed their full support for the Government’s ongoing development initiatives. Their endorsement underscored a shared commitment to progress and the continued advancement of Ban'didhoo .
