To commemorate 52 weeks of the current Government, the Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage, with the help of MTCC, Maldives Police Service as well as Dhiraagu, organised a series of activities today, including the 'Gaumiyyathu Dhathuru'.

The trip, which was open to public participation, began at 9 am this morning. Throughout the trip, participants visited different heritage sites which offered the opportunity for them to learn about the rich culture and history behind these sites as well as enquire about them. Ahmed Ala Didi, Advisor to the Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage, provided detailed insights about the significance of the historical locations. 

Participants began the journey at 'Shaheedhunge Dhanaavaiy', followed by visits to the Bihuroz Kamana Miskiy, Eid Miskiy, Ali Rasgefaanu Ziyaaraaiy, Medhu Ziyaaraaiy, Hukuru Miskiy, Gulha Kulhey Fasgandu, Usgekolhu, Kalhuohfummi, Kalhuvakaru Miskiy and the National Museum.

In addition to the 'Gaumiyyathu Dhathuru', the Ministry also organised an event titled 'Maidhaanee Aailee Haveeru' today at the National Museum, from 2pm to 6pm, to further celebrate 52 weeks of the current Government.
