A man has been arrested for allegedly entering an apartment in the Hiyaa flats of Hulhumalé Phase II and threatening an individual with a knife.

According to the Maldives Police Service (MPS), authorities received a report of the incident at approximately 10:54 p.m. on Monday February 24. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old man from Maradhoo, was taken into custody following the report.

The suspect was presented before the court, which ordered his remand in police custody for 15 days. Police have confirmed that an investigation into the case is ongoing.
