The Bank of Maldives (BML) has expanded its services in Kulhudhuffushi city with the installation of the city's first US Dollar ATM. The new ATM, located at the BML branch premises, was inaugurated by Minister of Tourism and Environment Thoriq Ibrahim and BML’s CEO and Managing Director, Mohamed Shareef.

This addition is aimed at improving Kulhudhuffushi city’s banking infrastructure, which currently includes four Maldivian Rufiyaa ATMs across two locations. According to BML, the USD ATM will offer 24/7 access to foreign currency transactions, allowing residents and businesses to deposit and withdraw US dollars, along with other self-service banking options outside regular banking hours.

BML currently has USD ATMs, in Addu, Malé, Hulhumalé, Velana International Airport, and Maafushi.

BML operates 39 branches across all 20 atolls, 100 Self-Service Banking Centres, 158 ATMs, and provides a range of Agent Banking and Digital Banking solutions.
