Ooredoo introduces digital initiatives for Ramadan

Ooredoo Maldives has launched a series of digital initiatives and promotions for Ramadan, introducing new services aimed at enhancing connectivity and engagement during the holy month.

The campaign includes ‘Roadhaige Noor,’ a storytelling initiative that highlights the values of Ramadan, and ‘Karaa Felhun,’ a game on the Ooredoo Super App where customers can participate in a daily challenge to win prizes, including data add-ons, household appliances, gaming consoles, and an Apple product bundle.

As part of its Ramadan promotions, Ooredoo has introduced several data packages with the option to share 25GB each with two other users. The company has also announced discounted international call rates to Saudi Arabia and additional broadband data add-ons.

In addition to connectivity offers, Ooredoo has integrated digital services related to Ramadan, including the option to donate iftar meals and make Fitr Zakat payments through its m-Faisaa platform. A free prayer alert service has also been introduced, providing reminders before each prayer. The company stated that these initiatives are part of its efforts to facilitate services during Ramadan while incorporating digital solutions for users.
