The Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched the "Ran Furusathu" Ramadan promotion in partnership with several retail outlets, including VB, Lotus, Fahi Plaza, Red Wave, and STO General Trading.

The promotion, running from March 1 to April 7, 2025, offers customers a chance to win prizes for purchases made using BML-issued cards.

Under the promotion, customers who spend MVR 300 or more at participating outlets will automatically enter a daily lucky draw, with one winner receiving a MVR 2,000 BML gift card. Additionally, STO and Red Wave held weekly draws, where selected winners received MVR 5,000 vouchers redeemable at their respective outlets.

The initiative aims to facilitate ease of transactions for customers during Ramadan while encouraging the use of digital payments. The bank has introduced similar seasonal campaigns in previous years, with this year’s promotion extending to multiple retailers to accommodate increased shopping activity during the fasting month.
