Authorities have launched a search for Ahmed Usaid Ibrahim Afeef, a Maldivian youth who has been reported missing in Malaysia.

According to a message sent to the Sunway Maldivian Association group on March 2, 2025, Usaid was last seen at 3:00 p.m. Malaysian time on Monday, with no news of his whereabouts since then.

The family has urged anyone with information regarding Usaid's location to contact the Maldivian High Commission in Malaysia immediately.

The Foreign Ministry confirmed they have been alerted to the disappearance and stated that the High Commission is working closely with Malaysian authorities to locate him. No further details are available at this time.
