The Ministry of Defence has announced that armed forces will be conducting weapons training in the Male' region starting March 9, 2025.

The training, which will run until April 5, is scheduled to take place every Sunday and Thursday from 04:00 p.m. to 06:00 p.m., as well as on Tuesdays from 10:00 p.m. to 01:00 a.m. 

The exercises will be held in Hulhumale' Phase 1 and Phase 2, with officers deployed in full combat gear and carrying weapons. The Ministry has advised the public of the training schedule to ensure safety in the area during these sessions.

The training is part of routine drills aimed at maintaining the operational readiness of the armed forces.
