The Gaafu Dhaalu Gadhdhoo Council has invited local and international investors to take part in the development of Gaafu Dhaalu Gan. 

Managed by the Gadhdhoo Council, the island is now included under the Gadhdhoo land use plan.

Interested parties are encouraged to submit proposals in the following key sectors:

The council has established a selection process where applicants will be shortlisted based on the strength of their proposals. The most promising candidates will then be invited to submit detailed bids.

The deadline for applications is April 30, after which the council will begin the evaluation and selection process.

This initiative builds upon a previous investment opportunity launched on June 4 of last year, when the council invited proposals for developing a land use plan and managing Gan on a commercial basis.

Under that scheme, investors were granted rights to maintain the island for five years, fostering economic growth and long-term sustainability.
