President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mohamed Anas as the President of the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB).

Mohamed Anas, brings expertise in financial management and public administration. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National University of Maldives. His professional experience includes serving as Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Audit Manager at the Housing Development Corporation, and Associate Professor at the Maldives Business School.

PCB is responsible for overseeing the privatisation, corporatisation, and regulatory monitoring of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the Maldives. It plays a crucial role in policy formulation, focusing on enhancing operational transparency and accountability within these institutions.
