More than 350 people will travel for Umrah during the last 15 days of Ramadan under the Maldives Hajj Corporation's supervision, officials announced Thursday.

An information session for these pilgrims was held last night at the Olympus facility.

The corporation will oversee a total of 577 pilgrims performing the Umrah ritual during Ramadan, including those travelling for the entire month and those departing for the final 15 days.

Hassan Sinan, Head of Sales and Marketing at Hajj Corporation, said the training session provided comprehensive guidance covering the entire journey.

"We have shared essential information about religious protocols, prohibited activities, emergency procedures and numerous other critical details," Sinan said.

The session covered departure procedures from Male', performing Umrah rituals, religious guidance, and administrative requirements. Three additional online meetings were also conducted.

Attendees received opportunities to clarify questions and complete administrative procedures during the session.

The pilgrims will depart for Saudi Arabia at 4:50 a.m. Saturday on a Saudi Airlines flight.
