The Business Centre Corporation (BCC) has announced an open call for participation in a Boduberu competition as part of Maldives Expo 2025.
The competition, aimed at celebrating Maldivian heritage and culture, is accepting registrations until March 25, 2024, with cash prizes awarded to the winners.
Interested participants can register through the official Maldives Expo 2025 website, where competition rules and additional details are available.
Alongside the Boduberu competition, BCC has launched a special TikTok challenge to further promote the event.
The challenge, which will run until April 2024, offers a monthly cash prize of MVR 3,000, while the grand prize winner will receive MVR 15,000. To participate, creators must post videos promoting Maldives Expo 2025 and tag @maldives.expo with the hashtags #dhiveheengemauraz25 or #expomaldives25.
Maldives Expo 2025, organised by BCC under the guidance of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, is scheduled to take place from May 23 to 31, 2025, at Central Park in Hulhumalé.
As part of its efforts to ensure nationwide participation, BCC has launched a campaign inviting all islands across the Maldives to take part in the exhibition.
The expo will serve as a platform to showcase Maldivian artists, providing them with opportunities to develop their skills and gain wider recognition.
