The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure has awarded FENAKA Corporation the contract to complete water and sewerage projects in three islands.

The agreement was signed by Minister of State Hassan Rasheed on behalf of the Ministry, while Managing Director Major (Rtd) Mohamed Najah signed on behalf of FENAKA Corporation.

The islands included in the project are Shaviyani Maaungoodhoo, Shaviyani Narudhoo, and Noonu Lhohi.

Water and sewerage system projects had already been commissioned in these islands, with previous contracts awarded to Static Company Private Limited, Altech Maldives, and Saas e Construction Private Limited.  However, FENAKA has now been assigned to complete the remaining work to ensure the necessary services are fully established.
