The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the launch of ‘Avahtteri Roadha Veelun’, a series of community iftar events aimed at strengthening community bonds.

The iftar gatherings will be held in different parts of the city throughout Ramadan, bringing residents together to share the spirit of the holy month.

The first event is scheduled for Saturday at Ranauraa Magu, in front of Huravee School, located in the Hulhumalé Phase 1. 

HDC’s Head of Marketing and PR, Hassan Shaheed, expressed appreciation for the continued support of Hulhumalé residents in such initiatives. He noted that the overwhelming participation and cooperation of the community reflect the strong sense of unity within the city.

Additionally, HDC stated that it remains committed to engaging with residents of Hulhumalé through such events, ensuring the city becomes a more comfortable and connected place to live.
