The Ooredoo Nation Ramadan E-Sports Festival 2K25 has successfully concluded, following an intense final held on Friday night.

The festival was organised by Ooredoo Maldives in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Arts and Skills, bringing together top esports players from across the country.

In the EAFC tournament, Nassam and Yuman emerged as champions, while Inan and Janan secured second place, and Zayan and Alyan finished third.

The Tekken competition saw Thabish claim first place, followed by Yooh in second and Ashwan in third.

In the PUBG Mobile category, LF SKYFORC secured the championship title, while SDMZ and SYNDICATE placed second and third, respectively.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts, Ibrahim Waheed, highlighted the spirit of competition, noting that while only a few emerge victorious, every participant showcased their skill. The Minister emphasised that losing does not equate to failure but rather serves as motivation for future competitions.

Ooredoo’s Chief Commercial Officer, Hussain Niyaz, stated that the company aims to expand esports competitions across the Maldives, providing opportunities for talented Maldivian players to compete on larger platforms.

The tournament featured a total prize pool of MVR 30,000.
