Saruvash and Majid join Pension Office Board

The Pension Office has appointed two representatives from the private sector to its Board of Directors.

Ahmed Saruvash Adam and Abdul Majid Ali have been named as the newest members of the seven-member board, which is chaired by former Finance Minister Ahmed Inaz.

Saruvash holds a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, and economics and a master’s degree in economic development and policy analysis. He has previously served as Chairman of the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) and as a board member of the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA). Most recently, he held the position of Chief Financial Budget Executive at the Ministry of Finance.

Majid holds a bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, and accounting and a master’s degree in international economics, banking, and finance. He previously served on the Pension Board in 2022 and was also a member of the Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) Board.
