President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Hikmah Ahmed Nizar as a Member of the Employee Tribunal Maldives.

The appointment was formalised at a special ceremony at the President’s Office on Sunday, where Hikmah took the oath of office, administered by High Court Judge Hassan Shafeeu. Following the oath, President Dr Muizzu presented her with the official certificate of appointment.

Hikmah previously served as a Senior Administrative Officer at the Employee Tribunal from 2020 to 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Shariah and Law and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Avid College.
