Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef scored as Muiveyo Friends Veteran Team secured a 5-0 victory over Eagles Team in the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) Veterans League on Sunday.

With this win, Muiveyo Friends moved to the top of Group B.

This was Muiveyo Friends' third match in the tournament, having now won two and drawn one, bringing their total points to seven. STELCO currently sits in second place with six points.

The Vice President scored the fifth goal of the match and was named Man of the Match.

The FAM Veterans League features 10 teams, divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the final scheduled for March 27.

The tournament is held annually during Ramadan by the Football Association of Maldives, showcasing seasoned former football players in a competitive and spirited environment.
