Maldives Media House (MMTV) marked a historic moment this evening with the official launch of its test signal, signalling the arrival of a dynamic new player in the country's broadcasting landscape.

The signal was ceremoniously flagged off at precisely 4:49:30 pm by MMTV Chairman Abdulla Zahir, a time steeped in significance as it aligns with the moment President Dr Mohamed Muizzu took the oath of office exactly one year ago.

The channel, now available on MediaNet Channel 115, promises viewers an exciting lineup of diverse programming once it officially begins full-scale broadcasting. Chairman Zahir announced that the test signal would run for seven days, during which final preparations and calibrations will be completed to ensure a seamless viewer experience.

MMTV has already completed the extensive technical groundwork needed for its operations and is now focused on crafting quality content to meet the needs of its audience. The channel plans to deliver 24/7 coverage, including up-to-the-minute news, insightful discussions, and a wide range of programmes spanning entertainment, education, and current affairs.

As the countdown to its official broadcast begins, MMTV has captured the attention of viewers eager to explore its offerings. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, MMTV is set to become a prominent voice in the Maldivian media landscape.
