President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed his best wishes to the leadership and people of Tunisia on their Independence Day.

The President extended greetings on behalf of the Maldivian Government and its citizens to Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed, Prime Minister Kamel Maddouri, and the Tunisian government.

In separate messages, President Dr Muizzu also expressed his personal wishes for the good health and happiness of the Tunisian President and Prime Minister. He further conveyed hopes for Tunisia’s continued peace, progress, and prosperity.

Tunisia celebrates its Independence Day on March 20 in commemoration of gaining independence in 1956.
