The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced an extension of the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) bus schedule ahead of the last ten days of Ramadan to accommodate increased public demand.

Starting March 20, buses operating between Malé and Hulhumalé (R1, R2, R6, R7, and R8) will run until 1:30 a.m. while buses operating within Malé (R10 and R11) will be extended until 2:00 a.m.

MTCC stated that the decision was made after analysing peak travel times and considering public feedback. The aim is to enhance convenience for commuters during the final days of the holy month of Ramadan.
