The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has opened bidding for design and construction consultancy services for its upcoming building in Hulhumalé Phase One.

The move follows MMA’s purchase of 43,400 square feet of land in Hulhumalé in 2023 for MVR 211 million, with the new facility aimed at enhancing the security of the state treasury and improving the safe handling of cash by banks.

To move the project forward, MMA is seeking qualified professionals with relevant educational background and experience in building design and construction.

Interested parties must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) via email by 11:00 AM on April 10, 2025, and will have the opportunity to provide further information and documentation by April 17, 2025.
