The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced temporary adjustments to select public services during the last ten days of Ramadan, which are being observed as public holidays.

Under the new changes, the validity of road and marine licenses set to expire between March 5, 2025, and April 20, 2025, will be automatically extended until May 5, 2025. Similarly, marine vessel safety certificates expiring on or after March 5, 2025, will also remain valid until May 5, 2025.

The Ministry also announced that its call centre will be closed during this period. However, for urgent matters related to maritime transport services, the public is advised to contact 7212719 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The Ministry stated that these temporary measures are intended to facilitate uninterrupted access to essential transport services while observing the final days of Ramadan.
