The Ministry of Higher Education, Labour, and Skill Development has granted tuition fully funded scholarships to five Maldivian students selected through a lucky draw at the Dhaalan: National Skills and Career Expo 2024.

This prestigious initiative was achieved with the collaboration of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), reflecting a commitment to empowering Maldivian youth with world-class education opportunities.

The scholarship winners will pursue undergraduate degrees in Malaysia across diverse disciplines that align with emerging global trends:

Bachelor of Journalism: Ahmed Zaidhan Mohamed Musthafa

Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence: Moosa Hoodh Ibrahim

Bachelor of Software Engineering: Aishath Maany Nasih Ibrahim

Bachelor of Marine Biotechnology: Ismail Rifau

Bachelor of Digital Media Technology: Mohamed Iyaal Naseem
