The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced the venues for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in the Male’ area, with four major locations selected for large congregations.

According to the Ministry's recent gazette notification, Eid prayers will be held at Maafannu Stadium, the football stadium in Villingili, the Synthetic Track in Hulhumale' Phase 1, and the Cricket Stadium in Hulhumale' Phase 2. Additionally, 23 mosques across the Greater Male' Region will also host prayers to accommodate more worshippers.

In the event of adverse weather conditions or heavy rainfall, the Ministry confirmed that the prayers will be moved to mosques that offer Friday prayers within the city, ensuring all worshippers have access to prayer services.

These measures are designed to ensure that Eid-ul-Fitr prayers are accessible to a large number of worshippers while maintaining safety and convenience.
