The Maldives Pension Administration Office has announced plans to organise a three-generation walk, scheduled to take place on April 12.

The event will be held at Hulhumalé Central Park, with the route specifically designed to ensure accessibility for senior citizens, enabling their comfortable participation in the procession.

In addition to the walk, the Pension Office has arranged a variety of activities to engage participants of all ages. The event aims to bring together three generations of families, including children, parents, and extended family members. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in entertainment activities and visit various stalls set up for the occasion.

The primary objective of the event is to provide senior citizens with an opportunity to spend meaningful time with their families in a positive and engaging environment. Additionally, the initiative seeks to enhance public awareness regarding the role and functions of the Pension Office by disseminating relevant information. 

Each year, the initiative highlights a specific theme, with this year's focus being financial literacy and financial awareness.
