Bank of Maldives (BML) Islamic expanded its annual Eid Sai celebrations to nine islands this year, marking the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and celebrating the tenth anniversary of BML Islamic.

Building on the success of last year's Eid Sai events held in six islands, this year’s initiative reached more communities across the country.

The events were organised in collaboration with island councils and local NGOs in Meemu Muli, Gaafu Alifu Gemanafushi, Haa Alifu Dhidhdhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Mahibadhoo, Laamu Fonadhoo, Vaavu Keydhoo and Hulhumedhoo, Noonu Fodhdhoo, and Dhaalu Bandidhoo.

The gatherings featured a range of Maldivian delicacies and short eats, drawing residents together in a festive and communal atmosphere. BML stated that the events were part of their ongoing efforts to strengthen community bonds.
