Maldives Immigration has released the operating hours for its services during the first seven days of Shawwal, outlining specific timings for passport applications and other immigration-related processes.

According to immigration officials, the Male’ Immigration Office will be open from 9:15 am to 12:00 pm during this period. However, passport applications at this location will be limited to individuals over the age of 65 and those applying under special circumstances. 

To manage the process efficiently, queue numbers for passport issuance will be distributed through the QB system daily between 9:15 am and 12:00 pm. Additionally, those in the Male’ area seeking a 24-hour passport can apply through the Imuga portal.

The enforcement and compliance division of immigration will operate from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm daily, except on Fridays, when services will be unavailable. Meanwhile, seaport services will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and again from 9:00 pm to midnight every day, except Fridays. On Fridays, the service hours will be adjusted to operate from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm and later from 9:00 pm to midnight.
