Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources has awarded scholarships to nine students this year as part of its initiative to develop professionals and administrative personnel for the fishing industry.

The scholarships cover studies in both mariculture and corporate fields, focusing on disciplines essential to the growth and sustainability of the sector.

In the mariculture category, scholarships were awarded for the following programmes:

Master's in Marine Biology

Bachelor's in Aquaculture

Bachelor's in Marine Biology

Bachelor's in Marine Science

Bachelor's in Veterinary Science

In the corporate category, scholarships were granted for:

Master's in Human Resource Management

Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance
