President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has revised and reissued Presidential Decree No. 2025/6, outlining priority projects that will be undertaken in the public interest.

The amendment introduces significant changes to the financial threshold for initiatives aimed at safeguarding national independence and sovereignty. Under the updated decree, the minimum expenditure requirement for such projects has been increased from USD 15 million to USD 100 million. 

The Decree includes a schedule that details the specific projects designated for implementation under this policy. It also specifies the locations where these projects will be carried out and the minimum financial allocation set for each initiative.
