An individual has been arrested on suspicion of practicing Black magic in Haa Alif Hoarafushi.  

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the arrest was made during an operation carried out following a tip-off received by police intelligence.  

During this operation, Police arrested Mohamed Abdulkareem, a 34-year-old man from Vaavu Keyodhoo. 

MPS further stated that the suspect was presented before the Hoarafushi Magistrate court for a remand hearing, after which he was remanded in Police custody for five days. 

The Hoarafushi police station is further investigating this case.
