The President’s Office has opened applications for a vacancy on the Maldives Broadcasting Commission (MBC), following the resignation of Vice-President Mohamed Fazeen.

Fazeen tendered his resignation on March 15, 2025, after the Independent Institutions Committee of the Parliament decided to remove him from the post.

Applications for the position will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Interested individuals may submit their applications to the President’s Office on working days, from 08:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., up to the closing date.
