Matrek Al-Ajalin Aldosari, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Maldives, paid a farewell courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdulla Khaleel, this morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, Minister Dr Khaleel conveyed the Government of Maldives’ profound appreciation to the Ambassador for his invaluable contributions towards strengthening the long-standing and fraternal relations between the Maldives and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Minister further commended the Ambassador’s dedicated efforts in advancing bilateral cooperation across sectors of mutual interest.

Minister Dr Khaleel also acknowledged the cordiality and diplomatic excellence with which Ambassador Aldosari had conducted his duties, and expressed confidence that the close relations between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia would continue to prosper under the leadership of his successor.

The Ambassador, in turn, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government and people of the Maldives for the warm hospitality, goodwill, and support extended to him throughout his tenure. He reiterated Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to further consolidating the strong partnership between the two countries.

Minister Dr Khaleel concluded the meeting by extending his best wishes to Ambassador Aldosari in his future endeavors and reiterating the Maldivian Government's full support and cooperation to the incoming Saudi Arabian Ambassador.
