Maldives Immigration has announced a change to its official working hours, aligning them with those of the Civil Service.

Effective today, the new working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a reduction from the previous schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.

The change shortens the department’s official working hours from eight to six hours daily; however, Immigration has confirmed that there will be no impact on current service hours. Passport application submissions, collections, and other services will continue to operate as usual.
