Police have launched a manhunt for a 31-year-old man, Assad Ali, from Kaafu Male', after he failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing

Assad is implicated in a cannabis trafficking case and is facing charges.

The defendant was required to attend the Criminal Court for proceedings related to these charges, but his failure to do so has prompted authorities to issue a warrant for his arrest.
