The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has appointed Yaseen Hussain as a new member of the Board of Directors of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

Yaseen brings with him a strong background in finance. He currently serves as the Chief Public Accountant at the Ministry of Finance. He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of the West of England.

His appointment to the board follows a recent internal restructuring at MTCC, which saw Sinan Ali, previously a board member, appointed as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).
