Telecom giant, Dhiraagu, has announced the opening of applications for its Apprenticeship Programme 2025 intake.

This pioneering initiative, first launched in 2009, is part of Dhiraagu’s commitment to youth empowerment and corporate social responsibility.

The programme aims to equip young Maldivians with essential work skills, on-the-job training, and exposure to the corporate world through a structured educational training model. Participants will receive practical experience across various fields such as administration, marketing, network operations, product development, human resources, and more.

In addition to technical training, apprentices will benefit from in-house workshops on soft skills development, including time management, project planning, and presentation techniques, facilitated by Dhiraagu’s expert staff.

Successful applicants will have the unique opportunity to earn while they learn, gaining valuable experience in Dhiraagu’s offices in Malé, Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, Kulhudhuffushi City, Baa Atoll, and Ari Atoll.

Eligibility is open to Maldivians aged 18 to 30 who have completed their A-Levels or a Bachelor’s Degree and are not engaged in full-time employment. Applications can be submitted through Dhiraagu’s official website until 1 December 2024.

Since its inception, the Apprenticeship Programme has trained 268 youths, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers within Dhiraagu and across the Maldives. This year’s intake promises to continue the legacy of fostering future leaders and skilled professionals.
