Mulah records the heaviest rainfall in the past 24 hours

The Maldives Meteorological Service (MET) has revealed that Meemu Mulah experienced the heaviest rainfall in the last 24 hours.
The Maldives is currently experiencing adverse weather conditions, with white alerts still being issued for some parts of the nation.
According to MET, a total of 53.5mm of rain was recorded in Mulah, in the past 24 hours. The highest rainfall elsewhere was recorded in Hulhule, with 42.7mm. In addition, heavy rainfall was also reported in Laamu Kadhdhoo, Hulhumalé, Malé, and Vaavu Rakeedhoo during the same period.
MET office has forecasted adverse weather conditions for the next 24 hours, with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected in different regions.
For the next 24 hours, winds will be west to southwesterly at 10-20 miles per hour, gusting at 40 miles per hour during showers. Seas are also expected to be moderately rough during showers with a wave height of 3-6 feet.
Due to the adverse weather conditions the MET has urged the public to practice caution, especially when travelling by sea.
