Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development, has been conferred the Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty (O.D.R.M.D) by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.

The honour was presented during an official ceremony held at the President’s Office earlier today.

The accolade was awarded pursuant to the authority vested in the President under Article 115 of the Constitution of Maldives.

The Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty commemorates the rule of Al-Sultan Muhammed Shamsuddin and is one of the highest national honours bestowed in recognition of distinguished service.

President Dr Muizzu’s decision to confer the honour upon Sultan Al-Marshad reflects the Maldivian Government’s deep appreciation for his longstanding commitment and significant contributions to strengthening the development partnership between the Maldives and the Saudi Fund for Development. Sultan Al-Marshad has played an instrumental role in advancing the generous assistance and support provided by the Fund, contributing meaningfully to the welfare and progress of the Maldivian people.
