The four hundred affordable housing unit project funded by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), was officially inaugurated on Monday. 

This project was inaugurated by the Chief Executive of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, and the Minister of Finance and Planning, Moosa Zameer. 

Inauguration ceremony was attended by high-level officials including HDC Managing Director Mauroof Jameel, representatives from the Saudi Fund for Development, and Government officials. 

According to the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, efforts are currently underway to hire a consultancy firm, with practical work on the project expected to begin in the last quarter of this year. 

Saudi Fund for Development has provided a loan of USD 25 million for the funding of this project.
