The President’s Office has announced that nominations for this year’s National Awards will officially open on Sunday, April 20, as scheduled by the National Awards Committee.

According to the statement issued by the President’s Office, the nomination period will run from April 20 until May 29. All applications must be submitted within this timeframe and addressed directly to the National Awards Committee through the President’s Office.

The committee has urged to ensure that all necessary documents are submitted alongside the completed application forms during the nomination process.

This year, nominations will be considered across 39 major award categories. As in previous years, applications may be submitted by individuals nominating themselves or others, as well as by companies, non-governmental organisations, and similar bodies. Submissions do not require the involvement of a Government agency.

Additionally, Government departments and independent institutions will also be permitted to file nominations for this year’s awards.
