The Dhiveheenge Ufehdhuntherikamuge Maurazu 2025 has received a strong response, with over 256 participants registered and more than 4,415 products submitted to date.
Speaking at a press conference at the President’s Office, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed said this year’s exhibition is being organised on a larger scale than previous editions, under the guidance of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, to promote and expand local production.
“This is part of the President’s broader effort to support Maldivian entrepreneurs and increase local economic output,” Minister Saeed said, noting that several activities are being carried out jointly by the Ministry and BCC to enhance the scale and reach of the event.
Set to take place at Hulhumalé Central Park, the exhibition will be divided into dedicated zones, and invitations have been extended to international participants to widen exposure for Maldivian-made goods.
Applications to participate in the exhibition remain open until April 25, and the Government has also extended participation opportunities. Exhibitors are now allowed to showcase any number of products, a change aimed at increasing accessibility and inclusiveness.
“This is not just an exhibition - it is a platform to open new doors for local businesses,” Minister Saeed said. “We want as many people as possible to take part and showcase the productivity and creativity of Maldivians.”
The exhibition aims to promote the work of Maldivian producers and create opportunities for networking, sales, and business development, both locally and internationally.
