As part of this vision, the President announced a new national scheme, "Women in Technology," to support female professionals in the ICT and digitalisation sectors. The initiative will create pathways for girls and women throughout the technology field.

The president also detailed that these initiatives will expand mentorship, scholarship, and internship opportunities nationwide, with a goal of training at least 100 women annually in digital skills and emerging technologies by the end of 2026.

President Dr Muizzu also emphasised that investing in women's education and professional growth in ICT simultaneously promotes gender equality and drives inclusive digital transformation, building a more resilient Maldives ready for the digital era.
