The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the opening of proposals for the lease of a clinic unit in Kaafu Thilafushi.

The new clinic, built to serve the growing workforce in Thilafushi’s industrial and commercial projects, is now complete. The facility includes a consultant room and a pharmacy. HDC said the clinic was developed to provide essential healthcare services and medicines to workers operating in the area.

The unit covers an area of 669.3 square feet and will be leased for a period of ten years. For the first two years, rent is set at MVR 17.5 per square foot per month, amounting to a total of MVR 11,712.75 per month. According to HDC, the rent will have to be paid monthly, with lease terms ranging between three and five years.

Interested parties must submit their proposals before 2:00 p.m. on May 22, 2025. A bid meeting will be held via Zoom at 2:00 p.m. on May 4, 2025. Questions regarding the bid must be submitted before 2:00 p.m. on May 7, 2025.
