Ooredoo Maldives earns ISO certification for call centre excellence

Ooredoo Maldives has made history by becoming the first company in the country to achieve ISO certification for its call centre operations, marking a significant milestone for the Maldives’ telecommunications industry.

 This achievement also makes Ooredoo the second company in the region to attain this prestigious global recognition.

The certification process, which began in February 2023, took almost 18 months of rigorous effort to meet international standards, implement ongoing improvements, and undergo comprehensive assessments. The accreditation reflects Ooredoo Maldives’ commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

The certification covers key aspects of call centre management, including service efficiency, responsiveness, customer satisfaction, data security, and reliability. It applies to both Ooredoo’s in-house call centre operations and its management of client call centres, underscoring the company's dedication to adopting best practices and enhancing service delivery.

This milestone strengthens Ooredoo Maldives’ position as a leader in the telecom sector, setting a new benchmark for service quality in the Maldives. It assures customers of consistent, high standards of service while highlighting Ooredoo’s focus on building a robust and adaptable infrastructure to meet the evolving demands of the market.
