The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has released English translations of all Friday sermons delivered in 2024, compiled into a newly published book.

According to the Ministry, the publication includes English versions of 35 sermons delivered throughout last year. The initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance access to religious teachings and strengthen the overall quality of sermon delivery.

In addition to the book, the Ministry has also begun broadcasting English translations of Friday sermons via Facebook and live television feeds.

As part of its sermon reform programme, the Ministry has also focused on empowering the next generation of religious leaders. Young individuals have been trained as preachers, and have even actively led Friday prayers.

The Ministry stated that these steps are designed to promote inclusive religious education and improve public engagement with Islamic teachings.
